Techniques that can be included in a massage therapy session with Jun:

- Reiki (Japanese energy healing)

- Reflexology (pressure point massage to the feet)

- Aromatherapy (essential oils)

Jun is a Registered Massage Therapist who can execute a skillful deep tissue massage to address specific aches and pains while leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Jun graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and is also trained in Reiki (Japanese energy healing) and reflexology (working on reflex areas of the feet that correspond to different parts of the body). Both modalities are excellent for stress relief and can be included in a massage therapy session. She also practices aromatherapy which can be a lovely accompaniment to a treatment.

Jun has a particular interest in treating:

  • Temporal Mandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction (issues with the jaw joints, although not focusing on intra-oral massage at this time)

  • headaches, migraines, neck tension

  • scoliosis (sideways curvature of the spine)

  • the fascial system of the body (layer of connective tissue below the skin that encases all our bones, muscles, organs, blood vessels and nerves - it’s the source of a lot of aches and pains, and can be manually manipulated to decrease pain and regain mobility)

Jun grew up training in modern dance and ballet, and received her certification as a Hatha Yoga teacher. She has a strong interest in the mind-body connection and holistic health, and has always had a passion to help people and the planet. She feels privileged to do this healing work and looks forward to meeting you!
